San Carlos made 23-of-30 free shots (76.7 percent) during the game. American Gerel Simmons (188-93, college: LMU, agency: Duran International) scored 35 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Jhery Matos (196-96, college: Charlotte) chipped in 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) during the contest. American Paris Bass (203-95, college: Detroit) responded with 31 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman LJ Figueroa (198-98, college: Oregon) scored 24 points and 8 rebounds. San Lazaro - Mauricio Baez 88-85

Point guard Adris De Leon (180-84, college: EWU) notched 27 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and naturalized Spanish Orlando Sanchez (206-88, college: St.John's) supported him with 8 points and 15 rebounds. Even a double-double of 18 points and 16 rebounds by naturalized American guard Gerardo Suero (196-89, college: Albany) did not help to save the game for Mauricio Baez. Forward Juan Miguel Suero (196-93) added 19 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Four Mauricio Baez players scored in double figures. Mauricio Baez's coach Melvyn Lopez tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help.
